Shota (LHP-CHC) has been mostly great this season, making an all star appearance and holding a 2.97 ERA on the season. But he’s proven he can get touched worse then school boys at a Catholic Church. When he gives it up, he gives it up. In the last month and some change before the break he gave up 10 to the Mets in 3 innings, 5 against the White Sox in 4.1 innings and 7 against the brewers in 4.1 innings. I don’t think he necessarily does that here but the point is he’s not unhittable, even more so by righties. 6 projected righties in the AZ lineup.
AZ batting .297 vs lefties last 14 days. .280 last 30 days. .283 last 45 days. Dbacks 4-1 last 5 F5 run line. 4-1 F5 run line on the road. 7-3 last 10 F5 run line. 7-3 F5 run line on the road.
